These are short and written in plain language on purpose. By using SpacePings, you agree to them.
What SpacePings is
SpacePings calculates when satellites pass overhead and notifies you, based on real orbital math. It's provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Billing
Subscriptions and one-time purchases inside SpacePings are billed and processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings; refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies.
No guarantee of sightings
We calculate real, precise passes — but clouds happen. Weather, obstructions, light pollution, and last-minute orbital changes can all make a predicted pass invisible from where you're standing. We don't guarantee you'll see anything an alert tells you about.
Your account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple and are responsible for the security of your device and account. Don't misuse the service or try to disrupt it for other users.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Stack Curious LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SpacePings, including a missed sighting. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
